I moved to Norfolk in 1983 from Cambridgeshire, and finally started painting again. I joined a local art group and was inspired by the big Norfolk skies and warm colours in the local landscapes.

My wife and I bought our first boat a small motor cruiser to explore the fantastic waterways of the Norfolk Broads and boats and water now featured heavily in my paintings.

The local beaches of Cromer and towns on the lovely North Norfolk coastline also provide ongoing inspiration.
