I was born in Suffolk and my interest in the landscape has not diminished. The Barge Races on the East Coast are an endless interest I frequently watch the Pin Mill  or the Blackwater race from the shore or on the  the water.

My wife and I bought our first boat a small motor cruiser to explore the fantastic waterways of the Norfolk Broads and boats and water now featured heavily in my paintings.

The local landscape and towns on the lovely Suffolk coastline also provide ongoing inspiration.
